Last weekend, we embarked on an unforgettable journey into the heart of cosplay culture at MCM Comic Con. The event was a whirlwind of creativity, passion, and imagination, and we had the privilege of showcasing our artisanal leatherwork, as well as hosting a hands-on leatherworking workshop for eager attendees.

MCM Comic Con is a captivating realm where pop culture enthusiasts, geeks, and cosplayers come together to celebrate their favorite characters and stories. From superheroes and sci-fi icons to anime and gaming characters, the event is a treasure trove of fandoms, creativity, and camaraderie.

At our booth, we unveiled a curated selection of leatherwork masterpieces designed specifically for cosplayers. From intricately crafted belts and pouches to cosplay armor and accessories, our exhibit showcased the artistry and versatility of leather as a material for bringing fictional worlds to life. Our leather pieces drew the attention of cosplayers, collectors, and admirers alike, each item telling its own story and character.

One of the most rewarding aspects of MCM Comic Con was the opportunity to interact with cosplayers. Cosplayers, who dedicate time and effort to embody their favorite characters, appreciated the authenticity and craftsmanship of our leatherwork. We witnessed the joy and excitement on their faces as they discovered pieces that perfectly complemented their costumes.

In addition to exhibiting our leatherwork, we hosted a leatherworking workshop that gave attendees a chance to dive into the world of traditional leather tooling. This hands-on experience allowed participants to learn the art of leather crafting and create their own personalized example. It was incredible to witness the enthusiasm and determination of workshop attendees as they embraced the challenge of working with leather…especially our Saturday class who also had to deal with Jules locking most of the equipment in the van and losing the keys!

The event was a reminder of the boundless potential that exists within the world of cosplay, where imagination knows no limits, and craftsmanship knows no boundaries.
